About Me

I am a canine behavior student and a proud dog mom with a deep passion for understanding and helping animals. In 2022, I moved from Brazil to the Netherlands with my husband and our three beloved rescued dogs, who inspire me every day to continue learning and advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Back home, my husband and I have a small shelter that currently cares for around twenty dogs who were once abandoned or mistreated. Our shelter offers them food, safety, medical care, and—above all—love. Today, it continues to thrive under the care of my father-in-law, ensuring these dogs have the second chance they deserve.

Over the past years, I have dedicated myself to studying canine behavior in depth — their instincts, emotions, needs and communication through their perspective. I have completed multiple specialization courses and participated in numerous webinars covering topics such as: problem behavior solving, natural canine behavior, canine body language and communication, shelter and rehomed dogs, reactivity, aggression, puppy development, senior dog care and more.

I learned most of them at Nordic Education Centre for Ethical Dog Trainers, based on the teachings of Turid Rugaas, the Norwegian dog trainer known worldwide for recognizing the
 dog's body language and communication.

I am also CPR-certified (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) by Galen Myotherapy to ensure I’m always prepared to care for them safely in event of an emergency.

With years of hands-on experience, continuous learning, and a heart fully devoted to animal welfare, I am committed to treating every pet in my care as if they were my own.

I truly believe that every animal deserves respect, patience, and compassionate care. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved companion in someone else’s hands — and as a pet parent myself, I honor that responsibility deeply.

My philosophy is to always treat animals with kindness and empathy. When we do good, good naturally finds its way back.
